Follow Your Dreams!

Everybody has different dreams in life. Sometimes dreams are great for you and give you something to aim for in the future. Sometimes we achieve things that we never thought we could because of our dreams.

I have been a huge dreamer since I was a very young kid. I have always had a crazy imagination and thought up the impossible.

One of my biggest dreams is to live in America. Maybe it's the atmosphere, the people, maybe it's just the big cities. All I know is that I've been obsessed by the country since I was very young. I hope to travel throughout the states I haven't yet seen one day and explore all the different beautiful sites. Now I know it's more complicated than just picking up my stuff and moving and that's what makes it a dream. It can't be easy, otherwise we wouldn't it dream at all.

Now I know it's random and a bit cheesy to write a post about dreams but I think they are important. We all do it, it shows hope and sometimes it keeps us going. So continue to dream big and maybe one day it will all become a reality. (Cringe)

Liebster Award!

Where do I begin! I previously heard about this award when I used to write on my old blog, never truly understanding what it was. But after writing on Peachy Rambles for a few months, I finally did my research and I was so happy to get a comment telling me I was nominated.

I was officially nominated for a Liebster Award by Maria from mariahasblondefeelings who has such an amazing beauty and fashion blog and you should really check her out!

I think this is such a great way to help each other get noticed by other blogs, get to know each other and really just cheer each other on. Once you are nominated, you have to answer the 11 questions you are given and in response nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers. Then you write out 11 more random questions. (I hope I didn't just confuse you.)

My answered questions:

1. Favorite YouTuber?
This is a really difficult question! I have many favourites so I couldn't possibly choose one, but some top ones for me are Zoella, Superfruit and Sprinkle Of Glitter.

2. What is your zodiac sign?
I'm an Aries! (March baby!)

3. What is/are your favorite TV show?
Well I'm a bit of a TV show binger so I have a few! The top ones for me have to be American Horror Story (Cant get enough of this show), Orange Is The New Black and My Mad Fat Diary.

4. Do you have a favorite drugstore makeup brand? Why?
My favourite used to be Rimmel because I would swear by their foundations but recently I have been seriously loving No7! I think their Stay Perfect foundation is gorgeous and gives such a nice glow to the skin. I also love their lipsticks because they are so moisturising and stay all day (I'm Rambling).

5. What is your favorite movie?
I can't decide between About Time and The Fault In Our Stars which both make me cry but I love them deeply.

6. A nude lipstick or a dark plum lipstick?
I literally am the most indecisive person but I love a mixture of plum and nude! If I had to choose between the two I would say a dark plum.

7. Summer or winter?
I'm a winter girl. I love Christmas, woolly jumpers and snow!

8. What country do you like most? Why?
America! I love everything about the country and all the different sites to go and visit!

9. What is the last book you read?
The book Thief, Its a good one!

10. Black or white?
This one has literally taken me the longest to answer! I actually can not decide between the two!

11. Favorite blog?
At the moment it has to be Dizzybrunette3 or I COVET THEE!

My questions to you:
1. What is your middle name?
2. What three words would best describe you?
3. Favourite item in your makeup bag? Why?
4. Guilty Pleasure?
5. What three items would you bring to a deserted island?
6. Favourite song?
7. What movie could you never get tired of watching?
8. What makes you smile the most?
9. Neon or pastel coloured nails?
10. If you could speak another language which would you choose and why?
11. Why did you begin blogging?

Thanks again Maria and I hope everyone that I nominated enjoys the questions :)

Garden Sweet Pea Yankee Candle Review!

After a bit of a break and an overflowing list of things to write about, I'm glad to be back writing reviews and posting again. Its all been a bit hectic recently with my brothers engagement celebrations, but there has been one thing which has been keeping me going. Now although I am a recent fan of Yankee Candles, I have quickly become overly obsessed. I soon used up my previous Snowflake Cookie jar which was gorgeous and it was time to pick a new scent to fill my room.

The sweet perfume of delicate blooms accented with hints of pear, peach, freesia and rosewood.

The Garden Sweet Pea candle was my latest choice and it did not let me down. To be honest, when I read the name I did think it was going to smell like vegetables, but luckily I was wrong. When I lit this candle it released a subtle, sweet scent of flowers with a slight fruitiness. Although it was not as strong as my previous candle, it was so fresh and delicate.

I also love the colour of this candle and because I'm the type of person to choose a candle based on if it looks pretty, rather than on how it smells this happened to be just perfect. I do wish this was slightly stronger, but I would definitely purchase this again in the future.

I believe Garden Sweet Pea is one of the candles of the month which means its currently on sale, so if you wish to try it yourself Click Here!

Lush Rockstar Soap Review!

Smells like teen (sweet) spirit
Get into the gorgeous groove with this creamy, sweet-smelling soap. Rock Star takes you on an away day with its nostalgic smell of seaside rock wrapped up in a pink block - perfect for easing sugar cravings.

I'm not a huge fan of using soap bars and I usually buy gels or body washes but this was in my recent Lush set so I had to give it a try.

My initial thoughts on the soap was that I loved the colour, the shape and it was just so pretty. The star also releases pink bubbles and foams up very easily. But the thing I loved the most was the scent it releases. Its like a sweet vanilla and its absolutely gorgeous (which makes sense because it does actually contain vanilla). Its also huge which is great as I would have been happy with half the size.

I wasn't keen on the fact that the smell didn't last. I was hoping the vanilla smell was going to last for hours after my bath, but it barely stayed around for long at all. It was also incredibly drying on my skin, but by using a little bit of extra moisturiser my skin felt fine.

I still don't think I'm fully convinced by soap bars, they don't give me the same feeling as when using other body products but this was very pretty, smelt great and I'm really glad I got to try it.

Real Techniques Sponge Review!

So I recently bought a real techniques sponge at boots and I thought I needed to write a post on it. I have never used a sponge to apply makeup before and I was really intrigued to see how it goes.
My favourite thing about this sponge is the 3in1 aspect. The flat side I have been using the most to apply foundation and its great for concealer under the eyes too. The pointed tip is great for dealing with blemishes on my face and I also read about using the rounded side for blusher and bronzer which I am yet to try.

The coverage this gives me is medium which I actually really like. The makeup blends into your skin so well and gives such a smooth base, almost like you have not got any product on. I made sure to add more for the blemishes as some of them tend to show through.
While researching I found out how important it is to clean the sponge on a regular basis and I have really been keeping it up. I also use the 'microwave for 30 seconds' tip for disinfecting it and so far so good.

Im so glad I bought this sponge and I will continue to use it especially for those days when I want slightly less coverage and am not breaking out. If you wish to purchase one yourself, heres the link: Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Matcha Tea Review!

I am a huge lover of many types of tea and online I recently came across Matcha Tea. I would see people rave about how great this was for you and I have even seen it compared to gold. I decided to do a bit more research and I eventually ordered myself some.

What's different about Matcha Tea?
  • Matcha Powder is ground up powdered green tea leaves. So you really get the 100% benefit rather than having a diluted version.
  • People have been drinking this in Japan for hundreds of years and I can definitely see why.
  • The tea is very concentrated and is filled with goodness.
  • It contains many vitamins and minerals.
  • Its greatly versatile and you can put it with anything without taking away the health benefits.
  • Its loaded with antioxidants and is great for your metabolism.
  • One cup is equivalent to drinking 10 regular green teas.
  • It contains caffeine, so gives you a boost without giving you the caffeine crash.
I have been using Matcha since I purchased it and I am kind of obsessed! It seems to relax me and give me energy at the same time. It doesn't taste great just with water, I have to be honest but I make a cinnamon latte with it and it actually makes it very tasty. My skin has also improved and my mood swings seem to have disappeared. Basically I am fully seeing the miracle of this drink and will definitely purchase more once I'm out.

(I purchased mine from www.fwsuperfoodsuk.com but many tea sites sell it.)

Still Bathing In Christmas Spirit!

So, as Christmas is sadly over I seem to still be living in my Christmas purchases. Especially where bathing is concerned. Two lush items I got for Christmas were Candy Mountain bubble bar and Snow Fairy shower gel and I just couldn't wait any longer to try them.
The first lush item was the Candy Mountain bubble bar and I absolutely loved this. Firstly the smell is gorgeous, the bar releases a mixed scent of vanilla and candy floss which surprisingly wasn't too over powering. The bar created light pink bubbles which filled my whole bath and made me very excited. I've never used a lush bubble bar before and it did take a while to melt, but I helped it by crushing bits with my hand. I honestly cant tell you how great this made my skin feel, especially on my hands and feet. It truly was one of those baths which you just don't want to get out of. I will definitely be trying more bath bars from the lush range in the future.

The second product is the Snow Fairy shower gel and I also absolutely love this. The bottle contains a bright pink gel, filled with sparkles, that smells like bubblegum. Can you really get much better than that?! The product foamed up well and made my skin smell great and feel so smooth. I'm really sad this is in the Christmas range, because I would definitely repurchase it. It honestly made my shower smell like a sweet shop and I'm going to be on the lookout for similar products.

I have many more lush gifts which I will use in the future and hope to review. I could honestly spend hours in this shop sniffing all of the different bath bombs like a weird person. I am also looking to try their face masks as I have heard they are great on the skin.
