Blogmas Day 2 | November Favourites!!

Beauty Favourites:

No7 lipstick
For some reason I seem to wear pinker shades on my lips in the winter and this has been my favourite. I wear this with a slightly darker lipliner and it has been my go to! I can't rave enough about these lipsticks, the formula is so moisturising and they fade beautifully.

Mac highlighter
This is a product I bought a few years back and just couldn't get on with. Recently I have given this a go again and I have fallen in love. It gives a great glow without making me oily and feels so lightweight on my skin.

Mac Spice lip liner
Man..I love this lipliner. I have used it every day since I bought it. It doesn't tug on the lips and is the perfect shade for my skin colour! I highly recommend!

Movies:

Unbroken
So after being incredibly bored one day, I decided to give this movie a go. I don't want to spoil any of the plot but it's just incredible. Very different from my usual rom-com but I couldn't take my eyes away from the screen. It's a true story and that's why it hits so hard, I was sobbing like a baby at the end.

Random:

Reindeer headband
I ordered this about a week ago from Asos and I think I will be wearing it all throughout the Christmas period! It makes me laugh every time I wear it and it really gets me into the spirit. I think I will eventually get on everybody's nerves as I jingle through the house! But that's Christmas hey!

Back For Blogmas!!

So I'm excited to finally be back for Blogmas! I had an EXTREMELY long break but I'm glad that Christmas has given me a reason to get back into blogging.

Now, Christmas is literally my favourite thing in the entire world and I become happy like a little child every single year. I usually start getting festive in October because I'm so impatient, but this year I've held back so that December is extra special.

I have lots of post ideas lined up and I'm ready to finally get in to the Christmas spirit. So, it's time to get all my Christmas jumpers out, start to stuff my face with chocolate and decorate my dog?!

Rome Is Beautiful!!

So I had a great opportunity turn up recently, when my brother and his wife asked me to go to Rome with them. Holidays are always great but I didn't expect to fall Inlove with the city as much as I did. I also don't think I have ever eaten so much in my entire life and I think I need a good month of dieting. But when in Rome..

We visited the Colosseum which was incredible! It was also my first world wonder and it didn't let me down. To think of all of the amazing and horrific events which had happened in the past was just unbelievable.

Not only was Rome absolutely stunning but the people were all so welcoming (apart from the taxi driver who scammed us) and everybody was so friendly and funny. In my head I had thought there would be a huge language barrier but mainly everyone could speak English.

Our hotel was right near St Peters basilica so we were lucky enough to actually see the Pope perform mass. I am not religious but it was honestly incredible to see the event and all of the people that have travelled so far to be there. We also went to the Sistine chapel and the Vatican museum and we got to see Michelangelo's famous art. This was a last minute choice because we had to catch a plane and I wish we had longer to truly explore. But what we saw was insane and I wish I had done my research before I went to really appreciate it all.

I am now officially in love with Rome (if you haven't realised already) and I want to be back there now. The people were beautiful, the food was beautiful and the city was beautiful! Its definitely a must see and I will certainly be returning.

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation!

Hey! I'm back again! After a long needed break to Rome (which I will write about) I'm here to rave and ramble about a few things.

No7 Stay Perfect Foundation
I mentioned this foundation in my January favourites and it's in there for a reason. Ever since I was matched to this product I have been loving it. It seems to work perfectly with my combination skin.

Boots have come up with a match made service which includes a foundation match and a lipstick match. A lovely lady working in the store approached me and asked me if I would like to try it out and ofcourse I said yes! The colour I was matched with was Warm ivory and I think it's pretty much perfect. I definitely recommend popping in to your nearest boots and trying this out yourself.

The foundation is medium coverage but it is very buildable and I end up using one and a half pumps. It lasts for a good 9 hours and most importantly does not make my t-zone super oily while still giving a great glow (Satin finish). I suffer from a very dry nose and it doesn't irritate it in the slightest.

No7 Lipsticks
I also have to rave about the No7 lipsticks! I have previously mentioned these, but the other day I decided to find my recommended lip colours based on my skin. I ended up buying two and although they look alright, there are other colours within the brand which suit my skin more (My favourite being Plum Beautiful). The lipsticks have incredible lasting power and they have a good range of colours.

Epilepsy Awareness Day!
Another thing I want to mention today is to all that didn't know it is Epilepsy Awareness day (Purple Day) which is very dear to my heart. I was diagnosed with a form of epilepsy when I was 9 and at times it's been quite a difficult ride. But enough complaining, let's get out that purple and raise some awareness!

You can also text purple t70300 to give £3 to Epilepsy Awareness (UK only)

YouBeauty Discovery Box Review!

Another day, another subscription box! I think its official that I have a serious issue with the temptation of a box of goodies. This time it's the YouBeauty discovery box and once I saw the price, I automatically had to get my hands on one!

The idea of the YouBeauty Discovery Box is to trial the latest beauty products. Each month they release a short list of products to choose from. They then send you your chosen treats and a few extra goodies for you to enjoy and tryout. Each week has a different theme and this months was Red Carpet season (which I have been obsessed with). This is all for the price of £6.95, how could you not be tempted! The box contains:

Loccitane hand cream
I seem to abuse the use of hand cream and its definetly something I don't use religiously which is not a good thing. Recently I saw a blog post about Loccitane and when I saw this option I thought it would be a great opputuniry to try it out. First of all the smell of this cream is absolutely gorgous! But I can not tell you how great and soft this made my hands feel. I may sound over-dramatic but I literally could not stop touching my hands.

Procotol face cream
When I chose this I had not heard of the brand before, but the fact that it contained collegen intrigued me. I was always going to love it or hate it and I surprisingly loved it. I like it so much I have incorporated it in to my daily skin routine. I have had a few comments on my skin recently too and I just wish I had more of the stuff.

Bare Minerals Foundation sample
Unfortuanetly the colour was way too dark for my skin but I did get to try out the texture of this foundation. Its very unusual and went on like an oil rather than a cream and I have a friend that swears by it. Im not sure its going to be my next makeup purchase, but Im definetly willing to give it a try and I'm not completely ruling it out.

Lindt chocolate balls
As soon as I saw this was going to be in the box I was automatically excited! Although this doesn't help with healthy eating, I knew I already love these and they wouldn't take long to be hoovered up. (I wasn't wrong..)

(The small magazine to explain all the products!)

So overall I was very impressed by this box. I love that you get a good choice and on the website you can learn about all of the products. I will definetly be carrying on with this subscription box and I cant wait to receive the March box.

Follow Your Dreams!

Everybody has different dreams in life. Sometimes dreams are great for you and give you something to aim for in the future. Sometimes we achieve things that we never thought we could because of our dreams.

I have been a huge dreamer since I was a very young kid. I have always had a crazy imagination and thought up the impossible.

One of my biggest dreams is to live in America. Maybe it's the atmosphere, the people, maybe it's just the big cities. All I know is that I've been obsessed by the country since I was very young. I hope to travel throughout the states I haven't yet seen one day and explore all the different beautiful sites. Now I know it's more complicated than just picking up my stuff and moving and that's what makes it a dream. It can't be easy, otherwise we wouldn't it dream at all.

Now I know it's random and a bit cheesy to write a post about dreams but I think they are important. We all do it, it shows hope and sometimes it keeps us going. So continue to dream big and maybe one day it will all become a reality. (Cringe)

Liebster Award!

Where do I begin! I previously heard about this award when I used to write on my old blog, never truly understanding what it was. But after writing on Peachy Rambles for a few months, I finally did my research and I was so happy to get a comment telling me I was nominated.

I was officially nominated for a Liebster Award by Maria from mariahasblondefeelings who has such an amazing beauty and fashion blog and you should really check her out!

I think this is such a great way to help each other get noticed by other blogs, get to know each other and really just cheer each other on. Once you are nominated, you have to answer the 11 questions you are given and in response nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers. Then you write out 11 more random questions. (I hope I didn't just confuse you.)

My answered questions:

1. Favorite YouTuber?
This is a really difficult question! I have many favourites so I couldn't possibly choose one, but some top ones for me are Zoella, Superfruit and Sprinkle Of Glitter.

2. What is your zodiac sign?
I'm an Aries! (March baby!)

3. What is/are your favorite TV show?
Well I'm a bit of a TV show binger so I have a few! The top ones for me have to be American Horror Story (Cant get enough of this show), Orange Is The New Black and My Mad Fat Diary.

4. Do you have a favorite drugstore makeup brand? Why?
My favourite used to be Rimmel because I would swear by their foundations but recently I have been seriously loving No7! I think their Stay Perfect foundation is gorgeous and gives such a nice glow to the skin. I also love their lipsticks because they are so moisturising and stay all day (I'm Rambling).

5. What is your favorite movie?
I can't decide between About Time and The Fault In Our Stars which both make me cry but I love them deeply.

6. A nude lipstick or a dark plum lipstick?
I literally am the most indecisive person but I love a mixture of plum and nude! If I had to choose between the two I would say a dark plum.

7. Summer or winter?
I'm a winter girl. I love Christmas, woolly jumpers and snow!

8. What country do you like most? Why?
America! I love everything about the country and all the different sites to go and visit!

9. What is the last book you read?
The book Thief, Its a good one!

10. Black or white?
This one has literally taken me the longest to answer! I actually can not decide between the two!

11. Favorite blog?
At the moment it has to be Dizzybrunette3 or I COVET THEE!

My questions to you:
1. What is your middle name?
2. What three words would best describe you?
3. Favourite item in your makeup bag? Why?
4. Guilty Pleasure?
5. What three items would you bring to a deserted island?
6. Favourite song?
7. What movie could you never get tired of watching?
8. What makes you smile the most?
9. Neon or pastel coloured nails?
10. If you could speak another language which would you choose and why?
11. Why did you begin blogging?

Thanks again Maria and I hope everyone that I nominated enjoys the questions :)
